To my physical body…

You and I don’t always agree. We seem to be running two different lives. I need you to heal, I need you to understand me, my spirit. I need you to want to heal. Please follow my heart because without you I can’t do the same. Why is it that you don’t cooperate? Why don’t you want to listen? I need you to be the physical representation of my mind and soul. You and I need to be friends. If you need a break please let me know. I can’t live in fear of your unreliable actions. Accept my help and the help of others. Feed yourself, strengthen yourself and leave behind all that is weighting you down. My mind is strong but sometimes I fall into your heaviness and unwillingness to participate in this journey with me. You had the chance to leave years ago. You chose to stay, you chose to continue, don’t give up on me now. Don’t give up on us. Allow yourself to rest, my mind needs it and I know you do to. Allow yourself to replenish and absorb the nutrients you need. I need you.
